Nikhil is a Principal in EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO), where he leads the digital transformation agenda for the consumer financial services industry spanning banking, wealth management and insurance. Nikhil works extensively with many leading consumer finance clients to develop customer strategies and new value propositions to drive growth and competitive advantage, and to devise digital and technology strategies to help clients modernize and transform into platform-based enterprises. Nikhil has over 20 years of experience sitting at the intersection of business, product, customer, and technology. He possesses deep business strategy acumen along with practical technology platform and transformation experience, which uniquely positions him as a trusted transformation advisor to many of the industry’s leading firms.

Nikhil also leads EY’s NextWave Financial Services agenda, which focuses on setting a vision for the future of the financial services industry. In this capacity, Nikhil is responsible for formulating EY’s vision and strategic hypotheses about how the financial industry will get reshaped, and for conducting empirical primary research to identify the key catalysts that will drive the change. Most recently, Nikhil led the launch of EY’s NextWave Consumer Financial Services thought leadership, a comprehensive market study about the forces that will fundamentally reframe consumer finance. He meets regularly with financial industry CEOs, Board Members, startup founders, regulatory, and policy leaders to advance the industry dialog and to stay at the forefront of the key challenges and constraints leaders face across the entire financial ecosystem.

Nikhil is also a passionate teacher who has guest lectured at the graduate programs of Indiana University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Columbia University on the topics of business transformation, digital strategy, and emerging technologies.

Nikhil earned his B.S. in MIS and Computer Science from The College of New Jersey and his MBA in Strategy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
