John E. Hart

John E. Hart graduated from TCNJ with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science before earning his MBA in Global Business at Southern New Hampshire University. As a professional, John has accumulated over 40 years of leadership experience in MedTech, Manufacturing Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Business Development and General Management. Beginning his career in the Ethicon Division of Johnson & Johnson, he has since led multiple Fortune 500 organizations with 1,000+ employees responsible for over $2.5 billion in revenue and has overseen venture capital-backed start-ups as well as mid-sized private equity firms. He currently serves as President and CEO of Southern Spine and Smisson-Cartledge Biomedical, LLC, a medical device company based out of Macon, Georgia, that specializes in manufacturing spinal implants and rapid infusion blood pumps for hospital trauma and transplant units. John is also an advisory board member for the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at TCNJ, as well as an advisor for the new MBA/MPH master’s program and practitioner partner for professor Jinsil Kim’s Managing in the Global Environment course.
